Welcome
I was born in New Orleans and studied at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Art. I continue to study with nationally known and local artists. I presently am a member of The National League of American Pen Women and other oganizations.
In my studio overlooking the Pacific Ocean, I start my paintings fast and furious, wet and loose, to quickly capture the essence of the subject matter. I want my art to hold a conversation with my viewers and collectors. I use whatever media it takes to convey this message. To me, paintings are such a personal message and are all about emotions, emotions, emotions!
The most recent public presentation of my art was the use of my paintings on the covers of two text books, Introduction to Criminology and Critical Issues in Crime and Justice, published by Sage Publications, Incorporated.
